Moab Magic Retreat 2027 — Cancellation & Booking Policy

Terranova Yoga retreats are intentionally kept small and thoughtfully curated. Each reservation affects our accommodations, meal planning, venue commitments, and overall group experience.

Please review the following policies carefully. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to terranovaofferings@gmail.com.

Retreat Details

Retreat: Moab Magic Retreat 2027
Dates: May 27–31, 2027
Location: Moab, Utah

Deposit and Payment Schedule

• A $600 nonrefundable deposit per person is required to reserve an accommodation.

• The deposit is applied toward the participant’s complete retreat price.

• The complete retreat price varies by accommodation and occupancy selection and is displayed before booking.

• Each attendee must register and pay their own deposit unless Terranova Yoga approves another arrangement.

• Half of the remaining balance is due January 15, 2027.

• The final remaining balance is due March 15, 2027.

• Participants registering after January 15 will receive an adjusted payment schedule. Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, the complete balance must be paid by March 15, 2027.

• A reservation is not complete until all required payments, guest information, and waiver documentation have been received.

Participant Cancellations

Cancellations Before February 26, 2027

• The $600 deposit remains nonrefundable.

• Payments made beyond the deposit are refundable.

Cancellations On or After February 26, 2027

• The deposit and all additional payments are nonrefundable.

• No refund or retreat credit will be issued.

No Transfers

Reservations, deposits, and payments cannot be transferred to another person or applied toward another retreat.

Travel and Personal Expenses

Terranova Yoga is not responsible for expenses resulting from a participant’s cancellation, illness, injury, travel disruption, missed transportation, personal emergency, or inability to attend.

Participants are responsible for their own:

• Transportation to and from Moab

• Transportation during the retreat unless otherwise specified

• Park entrance fees and activities pursued during free time

• Meals or purchases made outside the retreat’s included offerings

• Personal travel and medical expenses

Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended at the time of booking. Participants should review potential coverage for:

• Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR)

• Trip cancellation or interruption

• Travel delays

• Medical expenses

• Emergency evacuation

• Lost or delayed baggage

Travel-insurance coverage, exclusions, eligibility, and reimbursement decisions are determined by the insurance provider.

If Terranova Yoga Cancels the Retreat

Low Enrollment

If Terranova Yoga cancels the retreat because of insufficient enrollment, participants may choose to:

• Receive a refund of payments made to Terranova Yoga, or

• Apply those payments toward another available Terranova Yoga retreat.

Terranova Yoga is not responsible for airfare, lodging, transportation, insurance, or other travel-related expenses.

Force Majeure

If the retreat is canceled, postponed, interrupted, or materially changed because of severe weather, natural disaster, government action, public-health emergency, property unavailability, or another circumstance outside Terranova Yoga’s reasonable control:

• Refunds will depend on funds recoverable from the property, vendors, and other retreat partners.

• Terranova Yoga cannot guarantee a full refund or compensate participants for personal travel expenses.

• If possible, Terranova Yoga may offer rescheduled dates or a credit based on recoverable funds.

Right to Refuse or Cancel Registration

Terranova Yoga reserves the right to refuse or cancel a participant’s registration before the retreat when reasonably necessary. If Terranova Yoga cancels a participant’s registration for reasons unrelated to that participant’s conduct or violation of these terms, payments made to Terranova Yoga will be refunded.

Retreat Liability Waiver & Participant Agreement

By registering for and participating in the Moab Magic Retreat 2027, I acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that retreat participation involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Yoga and physical movement

• Guided hikes and outdoor excursions

• Swimming and use of pools or hot tubs

• Use of retreat facilities, amenities, and equipment

• Travel to, from, and around the retreat location

• Transportation provided, coordinated, or arranged by participants, Terranova Yoga, or third parties

• Extreme heat, sun exposure, dehydration, elevation, uneven terrain, rock surfaces, wildlife, insects, changing weather, and limited cellular service

I understand that Moab’s natural desert environment presents physical challenges and potential hazards.

I voluntarily assume responsibility for the risks, injuries, damages, or losses that may result from my participation.

2. Health and Medical Responsibility

I confirm that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in the retreat activities I choose to attend.

I understand that:

• Terranova Yoga does not provide medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.

• It is my responsibility to consult a qualified medical professional before participating when appropriate.

• I must disclose relevant allergies, medical conditions, injuries, accessibility needs, or physical limitations.

• I am responsible for bringing and administering my own medications.

• I am responsible for monitoring my hydration, nutrition, comfort, and physical well-being.

• I may decline or stop participating in an activity if I do not feel safe or comfortable.

I accept responsibility for my health and well-being throughout the retreat.

3. Emergency Medical Authorization

If I experience an illness or injury and cannot make decisions for myself, I authorize Terranova Yoga and its representatives to contact emergency services and seek reasonably necessary emergency assistance on my behalf.

I understand that:

• I am responsible for medical, evacuation, transportation, and related costs.

• Emergency response may be delayed in remote desert areas.

• Terranova Yoga is not responsible for medical expenses or emergency-transportation costs.

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release and discharge Terranova Yoga and its owners, teachers, employees, contractors, assistants, venue partners, and affiliated parties from claims arising from my voluntary participation in the retreat, including claims related to:

• Personal injury or illness

• Loss, theft, or damage to personal property

• Travel disruptions

• Retreat activities or excursions

• Use of the property, facilities, amenities, or equipment

• Incidents occurring before, during, or after scheduled retreat activities

5. Travel and Transportation Responsibility

I understand that:

• I am responsible for arranging transportation to and from Moab unless specifically stated otherwise.

• I may also be responsible for transportation between the retreat house and activities.

• Terranova Yoga is not responsible for travel delays, cancellations, missed connections, vehicle issues, or additional travel expenses.

• Third-party transportation providers operate independently from Terranova Yoga.

6. Activities and Schedule Changes

I understand that the itinerary, yoga practices, excursions, meals, instructors, and other retreat activities may be adjusted because of weather, safety considerations, availability, local conditions, or the needs of the group.

A reasonable schedule change or activity substitution does not constitute cancellation of the retreat or automatically qualify a participant for a refund.

7. Personal Conduct

I agree to:

• Treat the retreat property, staff, leaders, and participants respectfully

• Follow reasonable property and safety rules

• Communicate concerns promptly and respectfully

• Avoid behavior that is disruptive, dangerous, threatening, discriminatory, or inappropriate

Terranova Yoga may remove a participant whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, or in violation of retreat or property rules. A participant removed for these reasons will not receive a refund.

8. Photography and Media Preferences

I understand that photographs and videos may be taken during the retreat.

The guest-information form allows me to indicate separately:

• Whether I am comfortable appearing in photos shared privately with the retreat group

• Whether Terranova Yoga may use identifiable photos or videos of me on its website, in emails, on social media, or in other promotional materials

Terranova Yoga will use the preferences submitted with this form when selecting and sharing identifiable images.

9. Property Damage

I agree to be financially responsible for damage I cause to the retreat accommodations, facilities, equipment, or other property through intentional actions, misuse, or failure to follow property rules.

10. Alcohol, Substances, and Safety

I understand that:

• Responsible alcohol consumption may be permitted in designated settings.

• Illegal substances are prohibited.

• Participating in activities while impaired may increase the risk of injury.

• I am responsible for my choices and conduct involving alcohol or other substances.

Terranova Yoga may prohibit an impaired participant from joining an activity when necessary for safety.

11. Cancellation and Booking Policy Acknowledgment

I confirm that I have reviewed and understand the Moab Magic Retreat 2027 Cancellation & Booking Policy.

I understand that:

• The $600 deposit is nonrefundable.

• Payments beyond the deposit are refundable only when cancellation is submitted before February 26, 2027.

• All payments are nonrefundable on or after February 26, 2027.

• Reservations and payments cannot be transferred to another person or retreat.

• Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.

12. Agreement

By signing and submitting this form, I confirm that:

• I have read and understand this document.

• I voluntarily agree to its terms.

• The information I provide is accurate to the best of my knowledge.

• I voluntarily assume the risks associated with retreat participation.

• I agree to follow reasonable retreat and property-safety instructions.

This agreement applies specifically to the Moab Magic Retreat 2027, May 27–31, 2027, and its related activities.
