About Terranova Yoga
Sarah Terranova
Sarah’s yoga journey began in 2009 with a heated power vinyasa class in Utah. As a long time runner and fitness enthusiast, at first, it was simply about stretching and staying active—something she thought she “should” do. Although athletic, much to her surprise, every pose hurt in the beginning, it was more pain than pleasure. Through the challenges, the changes kept her coming back; there was just something beyond the physical with Yoga. Yoga began to spill into every part of her life, creating a deeper connection within, teaching her to trust, to feel, and to truly know herself.
In 2013, Sarah completed her 200-hour Power Yoga Teacher Training at Zuda Yoga in Sacramento. A lifelong student, she has since expanded her practice to include certifications in Yin, Bhakti, Yoga Nidra, Trauma-Informed Yoga, 100-hour Advanced Yoga, and Holographic Sound Healing.
Connection is at the heart of Sarah’s classes—through breath, flow, sequencing, and music. Her teaching invites students to explore their growth edge: that space where we remember that absolutely anything is possible, where we tap into the power inherently within us, and transformation sparks. Expect creative, inspiring flows; curated playlists; an invitation to find the balance of effort and ease and plenty of loving hands-on assists.
Over the years, Sarah has learned that no two practices are ever the same—and that yoga always meets us exactly where we are, as long as we’re willing to show up and breathe.
