Our Cancellation Policy

Because Terranova Yoga retreats are intentionally kept small to create a personal and meaningful experience, we ask for your understanding in honoring our cancellation policy. This helps us balance the needs of both our participants and our team, while sharing the costs that may arise from unexpected changes.

We know no one plans to cancel, but life is unpredictable. For this reason, we encourage all participants to purchase travel insurance and to review our policies carefully before booking.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to terranovaofferings@gmail.com.

If you wish to transfer from one retreat date to another, this will be considered a cancellation of your original booking and will follow the cancellation guidelines outlined below.

Retreat Cancellations

USA Retreats

  • Cancellations made more than 90 days before the retreat start date: Payments may be transferred to another person (friend/family) or applied toward another retreat currently open for registration on the Terranova Yoga website (must be arranged within 7 days of your cancellation email).

  • Cancellations made 90 days or less before the retreat start date: Payments can be transferred to another participant of your choosing. Otherwise, all payments are non-refundable. Please contact your travel insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

International Retreats

  • Cancellations made more than 90 days before the retreat start date: Payments may be transferred to another person (friend/family), or applied toward another retreat only if we are able to fill your spot.

  • Cancellations made 90 days or less before the retreat start date: Payments can be transferred to another participant of your choosing. Otherwise, all payments are non-refundable. Please contact your travel insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

Note: Terranova Yoga cannot provide refunds under any circumstances (including COVID, illness, injury, or death). We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.

For participant transfers, please ensure their booking details and contact information are updated and emailed to us at the time of transfer.

Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances

We are unable to offer refunds or discounts for late arrivals, early departures, flight cancellations, travel delays, or illness. To protect yourself in these situations, please purchase travel insurance at the time of booking.

Cancellation by Terranova Yoga

  • Low Enrollment: If a retreat must be canceled due to insufficient registrations, participants may either transfer their payments to a future retreat or receive a full refund. Terranova Yoga is not responsible for additional expenses such as airfare, hotels, or other travel costs.

  • Force Majeure: In the rare case of cancellations caused by weather, political unrest, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control, refunds will depend on what is recoverable from the venue. Again, we cannot compensate for personal travel costs. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

  • Right to Refuse: Terranova Yoga reserves the right to refuse or cancel any participant’s registration for any reason. In this case, a full refund will be issued.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance, ideally including a “cancel for any reason” option. This coverage can help protect against unexpected cancellations (by you or by us), travel delays, lost baggage, and medical emergencies.
