Terranova Yoga — Cancellation Policy

We appreciate your understanding in honoring our cancellation policy. Terranova Yoga retreats are intentionally kept small and thoughtfully curated, and each reservation affects our planning, venue commitments, and overall group experience.
Please review the applicable policies carefully before booking. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance for all retreats.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to terranovaofferings@gmail.com.
This general policy applies unless different terms are provided for a specific retreat. If retreat-specific booking terms differ from this general policy, the terms presented and accepted during registration for that retreat will control.
Domestic Retreats — United States
Cancellations Made More Than 90 Days Before the Retreat Start Date
Payments may be:
Transferred to another person of your choosing, such as a friend or family member, or
Applied toward another Terranova Yoga retreat currently open for registration.
Transfer or credit requests must be submitted within seven days of your cancellation email and approved in writing by Terranova Yoga.
Cancellations Made 90 Days or Less Before the Retreat Start Date
Payments may be transferred to another participant of your choosing. Otherwise, all payments are nonrefundable.
Please contact your travel-insurance provider regarding possible reimbursement under your individual policy.
Transfer Responsibility
If you choose to transfer your reservation to another person, you are solely responsible for:
Securing the replacement participant
Coordinating the transfer with Terranova Yoga
Ensuring the replacement participant completes all required registration, guest-information, and waiver forms
Terranova Yoga does not locate or match replacement participants. All transfers are subject to written approval and any retreat-specific booking terms.
International Retreats
International retreats require additional coordination and financial commitments with our venue partners. For this reason, the following policy applies to retreats held outside the United States unless different retreat-specific terms are provided during registration.
Cancellations Made More Than 90 Days Before the Retreat Start Date
Payments may be transferred to another person of your choosing, such as a friend or family member.
If Terranova Yoga is able to fill your vacated space from a waitlist, Terranova Yoga may allow your eligible payments to be applied toward another retreat currently open for registration. Any such credit must be approved in writing.
Cancellations Made 90 Days or Less Before the Retreat Start Date
All payments are nonrefundable.
Payments may be transferred to another participant of your choosing. If no replacement participant is secured, no refund or retreat credit can be offered.
Please contact your travel-insurance provider regarding possible reimbursement under your individual policy.

Important Notes
Deposits are nonrefundable when a participant cancels, unless the retreat-specific booking terms expressly state otherwise.
Except where this policy or the applicable retreat-specific terms expressly provide for a refund or credit, Terranova Yoga cannot provide refunds for participant cancellations arising from illness, injury, COVID or another communicable illness, travel delays, flight cancellations, personal emergencies, or similar circumstances.
If Terranova Yoga cancels a retreat, the terms under “If Terranova Yoga Cancels a Retreat” will apply.
Comprehensive travel insurance, including Cancel For Any Reason coverage when available and appropriate, is strongly recommended.
If Terranova Yoga Cancels a Retreat
Low Enrollment
If a retreat must be canceled due to insufficient registrations, participants may choose to:
Apply their payments toward a future Terranova Yoga retreat, or
Receive a full refund of all payments made to Terranova Yoga for the canceled retreat, including the deposit.
Terranova Yoga is not responsible for airfare, hotels, transportation, insurance, or other travel-related expenses.
Force Majeure
In cases involving severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, political unrest, public-health emergencies, venue closures, or other circumstances outside Terranova Yoga’s reasonable control:
Refunds or credits will depend on the amounts recoverable from venue partners and other retreat vendors.
Terranova Yoga cannot guarantee a full refund.
Terranova Yoga cannot reimburse airfare, hotels, transportation, insurance, or other personal travel expenses.
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Right to Refuse or Remove a Participant
Terranova Yoga reserves the right to decline or cancel a participant’s registration before the retreat begins. If Terranova Yoga initiates the cancellation for reasons unrelated to participant misconduct or violation of retreat policies, payments made to Terranova Yoga will be refunded.
Terranova Yoga also reserves the right to remove a participant during a retreat for conduct that is unsafe, disruptive, inappropriate, or in violation of retreat policies. Refunds will not be issued in those circumstances.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance as soon as possible after booking. Depending on the policy selected, coverage may include:
Cancel For Any Reason coverage
Trip cancellation or interruption
Travel delays
Baggage loss or delay
Medical coverage
Emergency evacuation
Coverage, eligibility requirements, purchase deadlines, exclusions, and reimbursement amounts vary by provider and policy. Cancel For Any Reason coverage generally reimburses only a portion of eligible expenses and may need to be purchased shortly after the participant’s initial retreat payment.
Participants are responsible for researching, purchasing, and understanding their own insurance coverage. Terranova Yoga does not sell, administer, or guarantee travel-insurance coverage or claims.
