Terranova Yoga — Cancellation Policy

We appreciate your understanding in honoring our cancellation policy. Terranova retreats are intentionally kept small and thoughtfully curated, and each reservation impacts our planning, venue commitments, and group experience.

To support both our participants and team, please review the policies below carefully before booking. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for all retreats.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to terranovaofferings@gmail.com.

Domestic Retreats (USA)

Cancellations made more than 90 days before the retreat start date:
Payments may be transferred to another person of your choosing (friend or family), or applied toward another retreat currently open for registration. Transfer requests must be arranged within 7 days of your cancellation email.

Cancellations made 90 days or less before the retreat start date:
Payments may be transferred to another participant of your choosing. Otherwise, all payments are non-refundable.
Please contact your travel insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

Transfer Responsibility:
If you choose to transfer your retreat to another person, you are solely responsible for securing that replacement participant and coordinating the transfer. Terranova Yoga does not locate or match replacement participants for domestic retreats.

International Retreats

International retreats require additional coordination and commitments with our venue partners. For this reason, the following policy applies to all retreats held outside the United States.

Cancellations made more than 90 days before the retreat start date:
Payments may be transferred to another person (friend/family).
If Terranova Yoga is able to fill your spot from the waitlist, payments may be transferred to another retreat currently open for registration.

Cancellations made 90 days or less before the retreat start date:
All payments are non-refundable.
Payments may be transferred to another participant of your choosing.
If no replacement participant is found, no refund or credit can be offered.
Please contact your travel insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

Transfer Responsibility:
If you choose to transfer your retreat to another person, you are solely responsible for securing that replacement participant and coordinating the transfer. Terranova Yoga does not locate or match replacement participants for international retreats.

Important Notes:

  • Deposits are always non-refundable.

  • Terranova Yoga cannot provide refunds under any circumstances (including COVID, illness, injury, travel delays, flight cancellations, or personal emergencies).

  • Comprehensive travel insurance with Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage is strongly recommended.

If Terranova Yoga Cancels a Retreat

Low Enrollment:
If a retreat must be canceled due to insufficient registrations, participants may transfer payments to a future retreat or receive a full refund. Terranova Yoga is not responsible for airfare, hotels, or other travel costs.

Force Majeure:
In cases of weather, natural disasters, political unrest, or events outside our control, refunds will depend on what is recoverable from our venue partners. Terranova Yoga cannot compensate for personal travel expenses. Travel insurance is highly recommended.

Right to Refuse:
Terranova Yoga reserves the right to refuse or cancel any participant’s registration. In this case, a full refund will be issued.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance when booking your retreat. Coverage may include:

  • Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR)

  • Trip cancellation and interruption

  • Travel delays

  • Baggage loss

  • Medical coverage

Insurance is most effective when purchased at the time of booking.
