General Event Waiver & Participant Agreement

Cancellation Policy

Payment terms may vary depending on the event.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Payments are non-refundable

  • Transfers may be allowed at the discretion of Terranova Yoga

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing

Transfers

If you are unable to attend an event, your reservation may be transferred to another participant if permitted.

Participants are responsible for securing their own replacement.

Terranova Yoga does not locate replacement participants.

Participation & Environment

Events may include, but are not limited to:

  • Yoga and movement practices

  • Breathwork and meditation

  • Sound baths or wellness experiences

  • Indoor and outdoor activities

Outdoor events may involve uneven terrain, weather exposure, and environmental factors.

Health Responsibility

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to participate.

Terranova Yoga does not provide medical care.

Participants are responsible for managing their own health, medications, and limitations.

Assumption of Risk

Participation in yoga, movement, and wellness activities involves inherent risks.

By attending any Terranova Yoga event, you voluntarily assume full responsibility for those risks.

Agreement

Submission of this waiver confirms that you have read, understood, and agreed to all policies and terms outlined on this page

Terranova Yoga — General Policies

Payment & Cancellation

Terranova Yoga events are intentionally small and curated.

As such:

  • Payments are typically non-refundable

  • Transfers may be allowed depending on the event

  • Refunds are not guaranteed

Terranova Yoga reserves the right to determine refund or transfer eligibility on a case-by-case basis.

Event Changes or Cancellation

Terranova Yoga reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel events if necessary.

If an event is canceled by Terranova Yoga:

  • Participants may be offered a credit, transfer, or refund depending on circumstances

Terranova Yoga is not responsible for any personal expenses related to event participation.

Travel Responsibility (if applicable)

For events requiring travel:

  • Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation unless otherwise stated

  • Terranova Yoga is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or additional travel costs

Right to Refuse Participation

Terranova Yoga reserves the right to refuse or remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate.

No refunds will be issued in such cases.

General Liability Waiver & Participant Agreement

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in Terranova Yoga events may include:

  • Yoga and physical movement practices

  • Breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness practices

  • Sound baths and wellness experiences

  • Indoor or outdoor activities

  • Use of equipment or shared spaces

I acknowledge that these activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Physical injury

  • Emotional or mental stress

  • Environmental conditions (weather, terrain, etc.)

I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, damages, or losses that may occur as a result of my participation.

2. Health & Medical Responsibility

I certify that I am physically and mentally capable of participating.

I understand that:

  • Terranova Yoga is not a medical provider

  • I should consult a healthcare provider if needed

  • I must inform the instructor of any injuries or conditions

  • I am responsible for my own medications and care

I accept full responsibility for monitoring my own well-being.

3. Emergency Medical Authorization

In the event of illness or injury, I authorize Terranova Yoga to seek emergency medical care on my behalf if necessary.

I understand that:

  • I am responsible for any medical costs

  • Emergency response times may vary depending on location

  • Terranova Yoga is not responsible for medical expenses

4. Release of Liability

I release, waive, and discharge Terranova Yoga, its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, assistants, and affiliated parties from any and all claims arising from my participation.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Personal injury

  • Illness

  • Property damage or loss

  • Accidents during activities

  • Incidents occurring before, during, or after the event

This release applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

5. Personal Conduct

I agree to:

  • Respect the space, instructors, and other participants

  • Follow all safety instructions

  • Communicate any concerns appropriately

Terranova Yoga reserves the right to remove participants for unsafe or inappropriate behavior.

6. Photography & Media Release

I grant permission for Terranova Yoga to use photos or videos taken during events for promotional purposes.

If I do not wish to be included, I will notify Terranova Yoga in advance.

7. Property Responsibility

I agree to be responsible for any damage I cause to property, equipment, or event spaces.

8. Alcohol & Substance Awareness

I understand that:

  • Some events may allow alcohol in designated settings

  • Illegal substances are prohibited

  • Participation under the influence may increase risk

Terranova Yoga is not responsible for incidents related to substance use.

9. Acknowledgment of Policies

I acknowledge that I have read and understand all policies outlined above.

10. Agreement

By signing below, I confirm that:

  • I have read and understand this document

  • I voluntarily agree to its terms

  • I assume all risks associated with participation

  • I release Terranova Yoga from liability

This agreement applies to any Terranova Yoga class, event, workshop, or private session.
